Papers

Prospective authors of papers are required to submit up to six pages on double columns IEEE format (www.ieee.org). Papers presented at WCEEENG'09 must be original material and have not been previously presented or published. Manuscripts not received by the deadline cannot be published in the proceedings and will not be presented in the conference. Final manuscripts exceeding six pages will be subject to publication page charges. WCEEENG'09 papers will be reviewed to ensure the quality of the technical content.

Student Session

Engineering students are invited to demonstrate their engineering skill, talent and capability of defending their innovated ideas. The participating students could attend all the conference activities, free of charge.

Registration Fees

The following are fees required for various categories:
Overseas Participant: US$ 400
Overseas accompanier: US$ 300
Egyptian Participant: LE 400
Egyptian accompanier: LE 300
For any paper to appear in the conference proceedings:
 1- It must be presented by one of the authors.
 2- The registration fees have to be paid (cash money) on site at the first  

      day  of the conference.
 3- For multiple papers, there is an increase of 50% in registration fees for

      each  extra paper.
 4- For extra pages (more than 6 pages per paper), 20% for each extra page

      increasing in registration fee.

Fees cover conference attendance, CD proceedings and participation in discussions.

Summary of Important Deadlines

Please take note of these important dates when planning your participation in this conference:

 

           Abstract submission:

Before 1 October 2008

           Notification of abstract acceptance:

On 1 November 2008

           Full paper submission:

Before 15 December 2008

           Notification of full paper acceptance:

On 1 February 2009

           Camera-ready revised manuscript:

Before 1 March 2009

           Program is released:

On 1 April 2009

           The conference:

On 6-9 April 2009

Paper Submission Process

1.   If you plan to participate in WCEEENG'09, you must send your abstract   before 1 October 2008 (earlier  submission is advised).

2.   All correspondence with conference must be via emails (using conference emails) and all delivered files must be sent as attached files to your emails.

3.  The abstract is a word file and must contain the following:

·  The paper title.

·  A summary of about 150 to 200 words.

·  Paper keywords.

·  The author(s) name(s) arranged, as it will appear in the final paper.

·  Affiliation, institute, mail address(es), phone number(s), fax number(s) and email(s).

·  Your paper track and field ( for example grid computing paper track  is C, and  field is 4: paper is written as C4) .

·   Softcopy of the institute logo and the country flag of each author participating the paper.

4.  A softcopy of the author’s (authors') passport(s) who will attend the conference.

5.  The abstract will go through refereeing by the conference scientific committee to decide its relevance to the conference topics.

6.  On the 1st of November 2008, you will be notified by the committee acceptance of your abstract's situation.

7.  You'll receive a confirmation letter for the abstract's acceptance.

8.  For the accepted abstracts, authors must prepare their full-length manuscripts according to IEEE format (www.ieee.org) and send it before the 15th of December 2008. The paper should not be more than 6-pages long.

9.  The papers will go through refereeing by the conference scientific committee to check originality of work, completeness of reported work, organization of manuscript and clarity of writing, tables, equations and graphs.

10.  On the 1st of February 2009, you will be notified of the acceptance situation of your full paper and notes of the conference scientific committee.

11.  You'll receive a confirmation letter for the preliminary acceptance of your paper.

12.  For the accepted papers, authors must re-write their manuscripts according to IEEE format (www.ieee.org) and according to notes and queries of the conference scientific committee.

13.  The authors must send their camera-ready revised manuscript before the 1st of March 2009.

14.  All the papers must be discussed and presented at one of the conference sessions. The authors must send their presentations (using Microsoft Power Point) before the 15th of March 2009. The presentation should not to be more than 10 slides for about 15 minute.

15.  The Authors will receive invitation letters on the 15th of March 2009.

16.  The conference program will be released on the 1st of April 2009.

17.  During the attendance at the conference on April 6-9, 2009, you'll receive the CD containing conference program and all paper abstracts.

18.  After presenting your paper, you must revise it again and prepare the final written paper according to discussion notes.

19.  The final paper must be submitted in Word format before the 1st of May 2009.

20.  On the 1st of June 2009, you can get the final form of your paper and any paper that  participated in the conference. You can also get a CD containing all conference proceedings.

21.  On the 1st of July 2009, you'll receive the final acceptance of your paper.

 

Travel, Accommodation and Tour

The conference steering committee will try to direct all the conference participants to the best for travel, accommodation and tour. Just visit this website: (www.alnadaegypttravel.com) and for further information contact (ola@alnadaegypttravel.com).

 

On the 1st of February 2009, you will be notified of the acceptance situation of your full paper and notes of the conference scientific committee. You'll receive a confirmation letter for the preliminary acceptance of your paper. Also, you'll receive the invitation letter. Please check with your travel agent or the Egyptian embassy in your country whether you require a visa to enter Egypt. Please remember that it is your responsibility to obtain the visa in good time.

Best Paper Competition

To encourage researchers to attend the conference, a $ 1000 best paper prize will be awarded to the best paper presented at the conference.
